Rishi Mago–Non-provisional patent application no. 16/120,303–Systems, Methods, and Computer-Readable Medium for Validation of Idiomatic Expressions
This patent is part of my ongoing longer-term project to develop software analogous to spell checkers to help non-native speakers whose idiomatic errors may place them at a disadvantage, especially in professional settings. The software will analyze users’ typed text to identify idiom use, show users the idiom’s correct meaning, and suggest alternative idioms. This first patent application covered conceptual details of the new approach I developed. I’m now working on the details of its implementation.
